Our mission

Becker's Dry Goods was created to help reduce everyday waste and to minimize the use of harmful chemicals being introduced into our environment. I do this by providing alternatives to single use disposable products such as paper towels, paper napkins, cotton balls, make-up remover wipes etc, and harmful toilet bowl cleaners.

I always disliked the waste created by single use disposable paper towels, so I began by making cotton flannel paperless towels for use in my home during the pandemic when paper towels were scarce. These replaced paper napkins and towels used at the dinner table with meals, and disposable wipes for dusting and washing windows. By choosing a paperless towel for most needs where a paper towel would have been used, that extra garbage is saved from the trash can. Likewise, by using toilet cleaning pods made from food-grade ingredients, I no longer am flushing harmful chemicals into the environment every time I clean my toilet bowl.
